SUMMARY:Global Citizenship Dialogues - Oct 24
DESCRIPTION:Global Citizenship Dialogues is a monthly public seminar dedicated to the serious examination of global citizenship as a lived and practiced discipline — one that extends beyond human communities to encompass the full web of life on Earth. Each session moves beyond theory to explore the frameworks\, responsibilities\, and challenges that define meaningful engagement with the modern world\, recognizing that our obligations as global citizens do not end at the boundaries of our own species. Sessions are designed to foster substantive dialogue and critical inquiry among participants who bring diverse professional and personal perspectives to the table. \nLed by Mark Hyman\, Ed.D.\, Program Director of the Global Humanitarian Collaborative and founder of Global Care Unlimited\, Inc.\, each session is informed by over 25 years of humanitarian field experience across Bosnia\, Cambodia\, and Ethiopia. Dr. Hyman brings a rare combination of scholarly depth and firsthand expertise that elevates every exchange beyond the ordinary. This seminar welcomes educators\, practitioners\, policy thinkers\, community leaders\, and all those who believe that understanding the world\, in all its human and non-human complexity is not optional. Open to all ages 12 and up. \nHeld the fourth Saturday of each month beginning October 2026 @ 8:30 AM EST.
